At the age of 46, I was faced with several very daunting challenges that for years I felt I could handle on my own. I learned the hard way that sometimes we need help from a loving, objective, experienced and professional source to help guide us through the feelings and emotions of our darkest days. I also learned that asking for help can be a very, very hard thing to do but it is also the best thing to do. Mary Bondi was recommended to me by a close friend and my time with her was one of the single best decisions I ever made. Mary helped me to tackle my addiction issues but also helped me sift through a lot of feelings of shame, guilt, remorse and sadness over a failed relationship and other issues that were crippling me and preventing me from moving forward with my life. Mary never told me what to do, but rather walked me through my feelings and allowed me to see the direction I should take that was best for me. I cannot find the words that would most eloquently express my gratitude toward Mary and how valuable my experience with her has been. If you feel that you need help with something, don’t be afraid to ask for help. It is the best thing you can do and Mary will walk you through.

As someone who had grown professionally by solving problems, I was the last to recognize the symptoms of problems I was having. By the time I was willing to recognize I had problems, I felt like I was being suffocated by those problems. I reached out to people I knew to ask for suggestions on who I could see; I was really struggling with issues in my life. I was contemplating making massive life changes on a whim, and I realized I needed someone to help me. Mary Bondi was recommended by a trusted friend. Even in the first session, I could feel progress. After several sessions, Mary recommended that we try an alternative treatment (EMDR) that she described as a way to get into the subconscious memories faster. She described it as a way to remain conscious through the whole session but tap into deep subconscious memories. It was incredible how successful it was. Several sessions later Mary let me go as a client saying that she believed our work was done, and that she was always available, but at that point she did not feel we should schedule any regular sessions going forward. I assumed that because of what I had achieved in life and business I should be able to handle almost anything. I was wrong. Mary gave me the additional tools I needed to handle what I was going through.

Finding Mary was the greatest thing I have ever done for myself. When I look back at my life before I began seeing Mary it was like I was stuck in groundhogs day...making the same mistakes, choosing the same relationships and allowing so many to take my power from me. The journey I took with Mary to change these patterns was not always easy, but it was worth every minute. Today I see clearly, am in a loving relationship, have my dream job and know that no matter what I will be ok. I will be grateful to Mary for the rest of my life for helping me to break free of my painful patterns and to finally live the life I was meant for.

I wish I would have found Mary years ago. I had no idea what kind of fog I was living my life in, what kind of emotional pain and anxiety I was actually suffering, and most importantly how it was shaping and controlling my life. It was a journey, often challenging, often difficult, but the reward was that I got my life back. When I look back, before I began the journey of healing with Mary, everything seemed so difficult; now, there's an ability to move through life with an ease I could have never imagined. I might have done the work but I can't imagine having done it without her guidance and help.
